MAKENA
Makena, rich in History and from cattle ranching, settlement, and the early days of the sugar cane industry; the area still remains the feel of beachfront paradise, top-tier estates, and homes that have stood the test of time, weathered by the salt-winds, quiet, indoor-outdoor living in every way. The area is a delight to work with our clients visions, to the limits of “Paradise Imagined”.
Haiku, History steeped in “Sugar and Pine”, with the old Haiku Mill and Canneries processing Sugar crops and harvest. Pineapple plantations then being the next evolution in Haiku’s rich agricultural history, processed and distributed, as the beginning of the pineapple industry all started in Haiku, Maui, Hawaii, via the planting experiments of Dwight D. Baldwin, and, his first shipment of Fresh Pineapple to San Fransisco in 1900. To this day the town in still, vibrant and alive with Agriculture and Farm Estate production.

With Sea Level Challenges, Majestic Beauty thriving against the Mid-day Sun, Lahaina and the West Maui Mountain Range to Kapalua present a distribution of environmental and sustainable challenges in land management, ownership and building regulation. Careful attention at each and every phase of development is Paramount. The resulting successfully designed homes and landscapes produced are a treasure to behold, both visually and through the path of ownership.
Incredibly close proximity to crystal clear blue-turquoise waters and powder fine sandy beaches Wailea is a joy to work with. Stretching from Kihei to Makena, the ocean and mountain views are magnificent in the early morning light; with crisp humid haze covering Streets, Plants and Trees. Large Upcountry sweeping views of the slopes of Haleakala Volcano lend themselves as backdrops to homes and manicured landscapes of all types and styles. Wailea awakens each day from morning to sunset, incredibly unique in sense-of-place and character.
